Capital Growth course

You have a space and you want to grow food but you dn't know how to get started? This course if for you! It goes through what you need to plan a succesful growing space throughout the year including what material you need to have a sustainable garden, planning what crops to grow when, soil management, basic design principles and extending the growing season.

Trainer Julie Smith is the Garden Manager at the Skip Garden in Kings Cross. Part of her job is to design, create and maintain food gardens for local businesses. She also runs Capital Growth's show garden in London’s Regent’s Park. Julie works as a consultant on various growing projects across London and is passionate about organic growing techniques. Julie is a director of the London Freedom Seed Bank, and loves to make her own natural beauty product in her spare time
